The New Carnoustie Golf Centre

An architecturally stunning building, a proud statement of world class golf in Carnoustie. Might sound like sucking up but that's not our style! It was a joy to work with Project Management Scotland along with the main contractor, Mansell Construction on this project. On this occasion our work was restricted to signage and graphics only. We consulted with David Wren & Richard Harper of Project Management Scotland to agreed specification for all internal mandatory Fire signage. The standard of quality was maintained by manufacturing these signs from polished clear acrylic with reverse printed graphics, finished with polished chrome fixings. The female and male locker rooms have large figure symbols which are laser cut from 25mm MDF, painted to match wall and secret fixings mean it is a very subtle statement. All door furniture is brushed stainless steel, we carried out the quite simple, but very classy black filled engraving. In the locker rooms themselves you will see more of our work.  The banks of free standing lockers have been decorated with full colour images taken from the golf course.  These are laminated digital prints applied to aluminium sheet.  We also supplied engraved locker coin tokens, which were specifically prepared for the Ricoh British Women's Open event. Our final piece of work was done in conjunction with Lam-art, manufacturers of cubicles and washroom facilities.  It was an unusual request but still pretty tricky.  I suppose people don't pay much attention to this kind of detail, however, the problem was how to make the indicator locks for cubicle doors look more "retro" after numerous samples a solution was found, when you visit the golf centre go have a look, the resin domed Carnoustie logo's are really neat.
