Camperdown Wildlife Centre - Family Visitor Attraction in Dundee

Dundee Council and Camperdown Wildlife Centre have completed a major revamp of their facilities. A new visitor centre with shop and restaurant has just been opened.

After many months of working closely with the design department of Dundee Council, designers Su Nicoll, Liz Taylor and Keillor Graphics, worked out the best solutions for design firstly but also agreed specification for sustainable and virtual maintenance free signage.

The sign structures are built and fabricated in mild steel which was hot dip galvanized, done locally by Forfar Galvanisers. The completed structures house signs that are made from PVC, Brushed stainless steel and aluminium. The main entrance sign is acid etched and in filled in various colours. This sign unit is also clad with Larch timber to match the decorative cladding on the building.

The main building itself has a partial fascia that we installed to cover the RSJ steel supports, providing a stunning bright green background for the built up fabricated polished stainless steel lettering.

This a great new facility for Dundee and families to visit, we wish them success and a busy time ahead when the better weather eventually decides to come back.
